The Hotel BlueBay Grand Esmeralda unravels alongside a sandy beach, 20 minutes’ drive from Playa del Carmen. It’s the pools that steal the spotlight – there are three lagoon-like numbers.
The restaurant count totals six, so you can dine differently nearly every night of the week. There’s lots to do here as well, whether you’re into watersports*, tennis or volleyball.
