SKI 2021 / 22 ….ON SALE NOW…..Staying at the Hotel Obermair in the Ski resort of Mayrhofen – Austria – on a Bed & Breakfast basis including flights, transfers & luggage. Ski packs are extra.

Starting out life as a simple guesthouse, the Obermair has transformed into a popular, no frills hotel.

Over the years, they’ve added an annexe, an indoor pool and a nice little wellness area. But through all the changes, the Obermair hasn’t lost its traditional charm and typical Austrian wooden panelling.

The majority of our rooms are in the annexe – they’re a little bit dated and this is reflected in the price. If you’re planning on spending a bit more time in your room then you may want to choose one in the main building, which are decorated in a classic alpine style.

The heated indoor pool is a decent size – big enough for a few early morning laps, or a splash about after getting back from the slopes. The pool is located in the main building, along with the wellness area with Finnish sauna, herbal sauna, steam bath and rain showers.

Bed and breakfast is the standard at the Obermair. It doesn’t have its own restaurant, but you can upgrade to half board and eat evening meals at the nearby Hotel Neuhaus, Hotel Berghof or Hotel Rose – all less than 10 minutes’ walk away. You’ll be told which hotel you’ll be eating at for the week once you arrive in resort. Or stick with bed and breakfast and discover some of Mayrhofen’s best restaurants.

Location wise, you’re just on the edge of town. The nearest bars and restaurants are just a couple of minutes away and the Penken gondola is only 12 minutes’ walk away. If you plan on getting out and about a little further into the Ziller Valley, the bus and train stations are both close by and the ski bus stops right outside.
