Our hotel is conveniently located near Lisbon’s city centre, so we’ll be able to make the most out of our short time in this incredible destination. On this guided holiday, we’ll immerse ourselves in the city’s history, traditions, and culture on a half day sightseeing tour with one of our award-winning guides. We’ll take in the stunning highlights of this fantastic city including the UNESCO listed Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries. We’ll also enjoy plenty of free time to relax on one of the beautiful surrounding beaches or to explore the enthralling city at your own pace. Combining relaxation with culture and sandy beaches, this is the perfect Portugal city break.

Day 1 (Travel To Portugal):

You will be met by our local representative in the arrivals area of the airport before being transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 (Lisbon):

After breakfast we explore the capital city Lisbon. Our expert local guide will take us on a panoramic tour of the city’s highlights, including the main avenues and squares of Marques de Pombal, Liberty Avenue and Rossio. Also included is the Belem district where you can find the Jeronimos church and photo stops at the Tower of Belem and the Discoveries Monument.

You will then have free time to enjoy lunch and explore the city at your own pace. Your guide will be happy to suggest activities to suit your interests.

Day 3 (At Leisure or Optional Half Day Excursion):

Today is free to spend as you wish. We recommend you make your way to Sintra, a lovely town with a luxuriant vegetation and unique monuments, where the Portuguese Royal family used to spend summer.

Our journey starts with the picturesque Sintra, where the Portuguese Royal family used to spend their summers; discover more on an orientation tour in the historic centre. Uncover more of Sintra’s charms, with time ay leisure to walk through the winding medieval streets and savour the local pastries, ”queijadas”. Our journey continues to the colourful fishing village and seaside resort of Cascais. Return to Lisbon driving along the panoramic coastal Estoril Road. For those who wish to explore more of the Cascais seaside resort, it is possible to return to Lisbon by train later in the afternoon.

Day 4 (Return Home):

Transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight home with guide assistance.
