One of the world’s most captivating cities, Marrakech has been a marketplace for centuries and we’ll discover the best of the city on this 4-night getaway. Enjoy a guided city tour of Marrakech including the lush Menara Gardens, the opulent Bahia Palace and the Koutoubia Mosque, which is regarded as one of the most impressive Islamic structures in North Africa. On our Atlas Mountains excursion we’ll take in the stunning views of the various Moroccan landscapes and savour authentic Moroccan cuisine with a local Berber family. This fantastic holiday also includes plenty of time to relax and enjoy Marrakech at a leisurely pace, with tips on what to see and do from our local guide.

Day 1 (Travel To Morocco):

Upon arrival in Morocco, we will be met by our local representative in the airport before being transferred to our hotel.

Enjoy some time at leisure before an included evening meal in our hotel tonight. (For late night flight arrivals our included meal will be arranged on our second evening)

Day 2 (Marrakech City Tour & At Leisure):

Join us today on a half day city tour of Marrakech where most of the city’s unmissable sights are to be found withing the city walls where mud brick home nestle alongside classic French colonial buildings. Highlights of our tour will include the sumptuous Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque (viewed from the outside), Saadian Tombs and the Merdersa Ben Youssef, which is a jewel of Moroccan architecture. We will visit the old Medina walking through the colourful souks before finishing at the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa square.

This afternoon and evening are at leisure to explore more of Marrakech’s hidden gems.

Day 3 (Atlas Mountains):

After breakfast let’s explore the Atlas Mountains on a full day jeep safari excursion taking us 1,800 meters above sea level. Join us as we discover stunning views of a variety of landscapes, mountain streams, coloured rock cliffs, valleys and Berber villages. We start our day with a visit to Ourika Valley with its spectacular views before continuing through the Oukaimedan Valley where we will enjoy an included traditional lunch with a Berber family.

This afternoon we travel onwards to the Asni Valley which is famous for its fruit trees (walnut, apples, almond, peaches) and take some time to enjoy the view of the Mount Toubkal’s snowy summits. On our return journey to Marrakech we cross the Kik Plateau before returning to our hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 4 (Majorelle Gardens & Yves Saint Laurent Museum):

This morning we will explore more with a visit to Majorelle Gardens. The artist Jacques Majorelle laid out his famous garden in 1931 with exotic plants, cacti and ornate fountains and painted the walls of his art deco villa a vibrant ultramarine to match the Marrakech skies.  The property now belongs to the estate of the late Yves Saint Laurent    and houses a museum of Islamic art.

Enjoy a final afternoon for some independent sightseeing & shopping in Marrakech before enjoying our included evening meal in our hotel tonight.

Day 5 (Return Home):

Early morning transfer with guide assistance to the airport for our flight home.
