Discover an imperial jewel in the heart of Europe with us on this 3-night city break holiday to Vienna. A stay in Vienna is like taking a journey back in time to the days of the empire when the city ruled not only Austria but a large part of central Europe. Examples of the city’s illustrious history, including 27 palaces, lie on virtually every street corner. On this fantastic holiday, we’ll enjoy a half day sightseeing tour with an expert, local guide to show us famous sites like Schönbrunn Palace, the Ringstrasse, the Vienna State Opera House, and more. We’ll also have plenty of free time to take advantage of the capital’s coffee houses, the perfect places to immerse yourself in Viennese tradition and atmosphere while enjoying a delicious coffee and cake.​

Day 1 (Travel To Austria):

Depart for Vienna. You will be met by our local representative in the arrivals area of the airport before being transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 (Vienna):

Today’s half day excursion brings you on a guided tour of the city, including a visit to the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace, the summer residence of Empress Sisi (entrance fee included) and also passes by some of the most important sights of Vienna including the Hofburg, former Imperial winter residence and scene of the Vienna Congress; the Ringstrasse, with its magnificent buildings such as the Vienna State Opera House and the Votiv Church, to name but a few.

Day 3 (At Leisure):

You will have today free for shopping and sightseeing of your choice. Why not take a trip to the Kunsthistorisches Museum, where you can view works by Raphael, Caravaggio, Brueghel, Bosch and many more celebrated artists.

Day 4 (Return Home):

The end has come to your delightful Viennese break. Today your guide will assist you as you are transferred by coach from your hotel to the airport for your flight home.
