Overview
Travel with us down the East Coast of America by train on this 10-night holiday, allowing us plenty of time to enjoy each city with guided tours and free time to explore at your leisure. We’ll begin our journey in Boston, one of the oldest cities in the US. The city is overflowing with intriguing history and was the scene of many key events during the American Revolution. Our next stop is the Big Apple. A global hub for international commerce, media, and entertainment, it is understandable why New York is known for the ‘city that never sleeps’ – it simply doesn’t have the time to! Next, history enthusiasts will be in their element as we take a tour of Philadelphia’s key highlights like the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. The final stop on this whirlwind tour is the capital of the USA, Washington DC. A dream for culture lovers, DC is packed with museums, galleries, and monuments.

Itinerary
Day 1 (Travel To The USA):
Depart Dublin for your flight to the USA. On arrival in Boston you will be met by our local representative before transferring to your hotel.
Day 2 (Boston):
After breakfast you will be met by your local guide and commence a morning city tour. You will follow the famous Freedom Trail through Downtown, Faneuil Hall, Beacon Hall, Back Bay, and the Waterfront District.
Enjoy an afternoon and evening at leisure for sightseeing and shopping of your choice in Boston.
Day 3 (At Leisure):
With so many attractions on your doorstep, you will have today to explore Boston at your leisure.
Day 4 (New York City):
After breakfast, you will have a guided transfer to the train station for your AMTRAK train journey to New York Penn Station.
Upon arrival meet your local guide for a city tour of Manhattan. Begin in the bright lights of Times Square before moving through to Greenwich Village, SoHo, Chinatown and the Lower East Side. Sit back and relax as your coach takes in the famous sights like the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Centre, Madison Square Garden, and a view of the Statue of Liberty from Battery Park.
You will have the full day free to discover New York City further at your leisure. Perhaps you would like to independently visit the iconic Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, or see a show at one of the many Broadway theatres? The possibilities are endless!
Day 6 (At Leisure):
Enjoy one final day in New York City at your leisure, the perfect time to do some shopping. From chic boutique to world-famous department stores, NUC has got it all.
Day 7 (Philadelphia):
After breakfast, you will have a guided transfer to the train station for your AMTRAK train journey to Philadelphia.
This afternoon enjoy a city tour of the City of Brotherly Love. From the Declaration of Independence to the Liberty Hall, Grace Kelly to Rocky Balboa the city is alive with history. Your tour end at Independence Hall to see the Liberty Bell before checking into your hotel.
After breakfast, you will have a guided transfer to the train station for your AMTRAK train journey to Washington DC.
Upon arrival meet your local guide for a city tour of the Nation’s Capital with highlights including Government Buildings, The National Mall, and Smithsonian’s, and Embassy Row.
Day 9 (Capitol Hill):
This morning, accompanied by your guide, travel by subway from your hotel to the Capitol Building to enjoy a guided tour of this historic building.
You will have the remainder of today free to discover Washington DC further at your leisure. There is so much to discover throughout the city, including world famous monuments such as the Jefferson Memorial, or nearby Arlington National Cemetery. Your local guide will be happy to advise you on activities to suit your interests.
You will have the day at leisure for some last minute sightseeing and shopping.
Depart your hotel in the last afternoon to the airport for your overnight flight home.
