On this exhilarating adventure holiday to Patagonia, we’ll wander through the charming streets of Buenos Aires and Santiago, trek Mount Fitz Roy in Los Glaciares National Park and get up close with the only moving glacier in the world, Perito Moreno Glacier. We’ll also spend two days exploring the great outdoors by foot in Torres del Paine National Park and experience all the natural beauty that El Calafate and El Chalten have to offer. Itinerary

Day 1 (Depart For Argentina):

Let’s being our once in a lifetime adventure with an overnight flight to Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina. Known as ”The Paris of South America”, Buenos Aires is a buzzing city that combines faded European grandeur with Latin passion. However, beneath its architectural beauty lies a city filled with passion for soccer, tango, and their local cuisines.

Day 2 (Explore Buenos Aires):

Arrive in the vibrant capital of Argentina, where the rhythm of tango fills the air. After checking into the charming Kenton Palace Hote, take a moment to soak in the rich history of the San Telmo neighbourhood, known for its antique shops and lively street markets.

In the afternoon, embark on a captivating city tour that highlights Buenos Aires’ most iconic sites. Explore the historic streets of San Telmo, visit the colourful houses of La Boca, and marvel at the stunning architecture of the Plaza de Mayo. Your guide will share stories about the city’s fascinating past, including its European influences and cultural heritage.

As the sun sets, enjoy the evening at your leisure. Consider visiting the nearby Plaza Dorrego, where street performers often showcase traditional dances. Don’t miss the opportunity to sample Argentina’s renowned cuisine at a local parrilla, savouring the bold flavours of the region before resting up for the adventure ahead.

Day 3 (Discover Buenos Aires & Optional Tango Class):

Today is yours to explore the vibrant city of Buenos Aires. Start your morning with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, enjoying freshly baked medialunas and amazing Argentine coffee. Then, dive into the city’s eclectic neighbourhoods. Visit the historic Plaza de Mayo, home to the iconic Casa Rosasa; ‘the Pink House’, is the president of the Argentine Republic’s official workplace. Wander through the colourful streets of La Boca, where you can see the famous Caminito street filled with art and tango dancers.

For an extra dose of culture, join an optional tango class at La Ventana, where you’ll learn the steps of this passionate dance. In the evening, consider dining in Palermo, were trendy restaurants and bars beckon with delicious offerings and vibrant atmospheres.

Day 4 (Journey To Ushuaia):

After breakfast, board your flight to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, framed by the stunning backdrop of the Andes and the Beagle Channel. Upon arrival, check into the cozy Las Lengas Hotel, where warm hospitality awaits. Spend the afternoon exploring Ushuaia’s charming waterfront, dotted with colourful boats and cafes. You might visit the Maritime Museum houses in an old prison or explore the local artisan shops for unique souvenirs. As evening falls, consider enjoying a dinner of fresh Patagonian seafood, taking in the majestic of the surrounding mountains.

Day 5 (Tierra Del Fuego National Park):

Prepare for a day of natural wonders as you can embark on a half-day tour of Tierra del Duego National Park. Board the famous ‘End of the World’ train for a scenic ride through lush forests and along the stunning coastlines of the Beagle Channel. The train ride offers a glimpse into the park’s fascinating history and breath taking landscapes. Day 6 (Beagle Channel Exploration):

A highlight of the trip is the visit to the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, an emblem of maritime navigation. After your boat trip, the afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. Day 7 (Perito Moreno Glacier):

After a hearty breakfast, fly from Ushuaia to El Chalten, a quaint village nestled at the base of the magnificent Fitz Roy massif. Upon arrival, check into Hosteria Lunajam, a welcoming haven where you can relax and recharge. The rest of the day is yours to explore this picturesque village. Stroll through the charming streets lined with artisan shops or relax in a local cafe while taking in the breath taking views of the surroundings peaks. For the adventurous, consider a short hike to one of the nearby lookout points for stunning views of the iconic Mount Fitz Roy as the sun sets behind it.

Day 8 (Fitz Roy Trek):

Today, lace up your hiking boots for a full-day trek to the legendary Mount Fitz Roy. Guided by an experienced local, embark on a journey through enchanting landscapes, including dense forests, sparkling rivers, and breath taking vistas. The trek offers multiple vantage points to admire the rugged beauty of the Fitz Roy massif. Enjoy a packed lunch surrounded by nature, where you can savour the moment while taking in the stunning views. Throughout the hike, your guide will share insights about the region’s ecology and geology. Return to El Chalten in the evening, where you can unwind at your hotel, reliving the day’s adventure.

Day 9 (Full Day Trek To Pliegue Tumbado):

The Pliegue Tumbado trek in Argentina’s Los Glaciares National Park is a mesmerizing journey through some of the most dramatic landscapes Patagonia has to offer. This full-day hike is not just a walk, it’s an immersion into an untamed world where towering granite spires, ancient glaciers, and wild winds define the spirit of the land. Known for its weeping, unobstructed views of two of Patagonia’s most legendary peaks, Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre, this trail is a favourite among trekkers seeking both challenge and rewards. Day 10 (El Chalten To El Calafate):

After breakfast, depart El Chalten and head to El Calafate, a scenic journey that showcases the breath taking landscapes of Patagonia. As you depart from El Chalten, you’ll be surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Fitz Roy massif, with views of lush forests and glistening lakes along the way.

El Calafate is a charming town situated on the shores of Lake Argentino. Check into the Sierra Nevada Hotel, where you’ll find comfort and warmth. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at your leisure. Take a leisurely stroll along the lakeside promenade or visit local shops that feature handcrafted goods and regional delicacies. You may want to sample traditional Argentine dishes at a local restaurant or enjoy a peaceful afternoon relaxing at your hotel, soaking in the breath taking Patagonian scenery.

Day 11 (Perito Moreno Glacier Adventure):

Get ready for an awe-inspiring day at the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the few glaciers in the world that is still advancing. On this full-day tour, you’ll first explore the walkways that offer panoramic views of the massive glacier, where you can witness the captivating spectacle of ice calving into the turquoise waters below.
