Experience the authentic charm of Central Italy on this guided holiday through the captivating regions of Le Marche and Umbria. Renaissance art, awe-inspiring mountain landscapes, and fine beaches are just some of the lures of this wonderful destination. We’ll stay in the coastal town of Pesaro, birthplace of the famous composer Gioacchino Rossini, which boasts the perfect combination of a charming historic centre and a superb beach. Our Italy trip will take us to many of Le Marche’s gems, including the university city of Urbino, home to countless artistic and architectural masterpieces, and Gradara, whose beautifully preserved castle is thought to be the setting of Dante’s tragic love story of Paolo and Francesca. We’ll also discover the charm of Umbria with a visit to Gubbio, one of Italy’s most atmospheric medieval towns.
