Join us to explore the perfect combination of bustling, modern city, and medieval heritage on this 4-night short break to Krakow. As Poland’s former national capital, the city has a history encompassing more than a thousand years and still remains a leading cultural centre. On this holiday, we’ll enjoy a walking tour of the city’s main highlights including shops at St. Mary’s Church, the Wawel Cathedral, and the Royal Tombs, the final resting place of 10 Polish kings. We’ll also take a full day excursion to Zakopane, a resort town at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. Here, we’ll explore the town’s charming centre with a local guide and take a short funicular ride to the top of Gubalowka hill, to enjoy the panoramic views of the countryside.

Itinerary
Day 1 (Travel To Poland):
We land in Krakow, let’s meet our local guide before boarding our coach towards our hotel to relax a bit.
Day 2 (Krakow):
Let’s discover the magical city of Krakow with a half-day walking with our local guide. Let’s see the main square, the largest medieval square in Europe.
We will explore, Wawel Cathedral, St. Mary’s Church, Sigismond’s Bell, and the Royal Tombs.
You’ll have free time to enjoy the city at your own pace. Enjoy a stroll along Grodzka street with all its shops and restaurants. Maybe you would like to try one of the ”Bar Mleczny”, known as the Milk Bar, the popular canteen during the soviet period.
Day 3 (Zakopane):
This morning, we will take a full-day excursion to the Tatrzanski National Park, in the heart of the sublime High Tatras mountains, towards Zakopane. We will explore Zakopane’s quaint streets lined with unique and charmingly decorated wooden structures. We’ll take a short walk through the centre, visiting Krupowki Street and Krzeptowki Sanctuary while taking in the town’s folk atmosphere and scenic surroundings.
We will take a cable car to the top of Gubalowka hill, where on a clear day you can enjoy panoramic views of the mountains.
You will have free time to enjoy the view, do some shopping, taste the local specialties, and relax in the fresh mountain air, before returning to Krakow.
Day 4 (At Leisure):
Today you’ll have free time for some shopping and more sightseeing, at leisure.
If you want to visit more, you can explore Kazimierz, the historic Jewish Quarter, and visit Schindler’s Factory. You can also relax with a little cruise on the Vistula River. Don’t forget to try some Polish delicacies, including delicious pastries, and of course, you can’t leave the city before trying ”Pierogi”, a must for any visit to Poland!
Krakow isn’t the only UNESCO World Heritage site in the area, nearby, you can discover the impressive Wieliczka Salt Mines or reflect for a duty of memory of Auschwitz-Birkenau. Our guide will be happy to help you book an excursion locally.
Day 5 (Return Home):
Depart our hotel to Krakow Airport for our return flight.
