This peaceful area is practically untouched by tourism and retains much of its local charm. After a short drive from Lanjaron, you will reach the town of Veluz de Benaudalla, which is located in the heart of the Andalucian countryside. Here you will visit a museum dedicated to the production of olive oil for which this area is famed. You will have the opportunity to taste some of the olive oil before visiting the town of Salobrena. Its beaches and pleasant temperatures make it an ideal all-year-round destination.

Afterwards, continue to Frigiliana which is a beautiful white village, often voted as one of the prettiest in Spain. Here, in a quaint family-run bodega you can taste the special dessert wine which is produced only in Frigiliana, along with other local specialities such as fig bread and sugar-cane honey.
