Day 1
Begin your journey with a morning flight from Dublin to Milan. Your Aer Lingus flight departs at 07:00,
arriving at Milan Linate at 10:40. Upon arrival, collect your luggage and meet your local escort in
the arrivals hall for a private transfer to the centrally located 4★ Sina De La Ville Hotel, your base for
the next three nights on a bed & breakfast basis.
After leaving your luggage with the hotel concierge, enjoy a welcome lunch and set out on a
guided orientation walking tour of Milan with your expert local guide.
No visit to Milan would be complete without the awe-inspiring Duomo di Milano, a masterpiece of
Gothic architecture and the city’s most iconic landmark. With its forest of spires and soaring towers,
this extraordinary cathedral is the most flamboyant example of Northern Gothic in Italy, standing
proudly over Piazza del Duomo, the vibrant heart of the city.
Your experience also includes a guided visit to the Museum at Teatro alla Scala, one of the world’s
most celebrated opera houses. Step inside this temple of music and history to explore its rich
collection of costumes, instruments, and artworks that tell the story of Milan’s enduring passion for
opera and performance.
Return to your hotel later in the day for check-in, and in the evening, unwind with a welcome drink
in the stylish hotel bar.
Day 2
Milan’s Historic Heart & Brera Art Gallery
Discover the heart of Milan, the cradle of Renaissance Italy. Meet your local guide and starting
directly from your hotel, stroll through elegant squares and streets steeped in history, as your guide
brings the city’s rich cultural past to life.
Visit the renowned Pinacoteca di Brera (Brera Art Gallery), one of Italy’s most prestigious collections
of Renaissance art, featuring more than 500 works spanning the 14th to 20th centuries. Opened to
the public in 1809, the gallery is housed in a magnificent 17th-century palace alongside the
Accademia di Belle Arti (Academy of Fine Arts). Among its treasures are masterpieces by Piero
della Francesca, Raphael, Mantegna, Bellini, Caravaggio, Tintoretto, and Veronese, with a select
modern section including works by Modigliani, De Chirico, and Carrà.
Located in the heart of the enchanting Brera district—often called “the Milanese Montmartre”—the
gallery sits amidst cosy restaurants, lively cafés, eclectic antique shops, vibrant street markets, and
a bohemian atmosphere of artists and fortune tellers.
In the evening, a pre-opera dinner will be served in the hotel restaurant and afterwards, depart on
foot to the Theatre alla Scala for evening performance of Turandot (category 2 tickets).

Day 3
Castello Sforzesco
Step back in time with a visit to the majestic Castello Sforzesco, Milan’s historic fortress and symbol
of Renaissance power. Once the residence of the influential Sforza family, the castle now houses
some of the city’s most important museums and art collections. Stroll through its grand courtyards,

After breakfast, meet your local guide for a private coach transfer to Milan Linate Airport. Your
return Aer Lingus flight departs at 11:20, arriving in Dublin at 12:50.
