We will begin with a bright and early departure at 7:30am, for a truly memorable experience – a journey on board the wonderful Bernina Express, one of the most scenic rail routes in the world. Travelling in first-class panoramic carriages, over the next two and a half hours, you’ll glide through the spectacular landscapes of the Swiss Alps, crossing viaducts and mountain passes as you make your way in style to the elegant resort town of St. Moritz.

There will be time to explore St. Moritz at your own pace – perhaps enjoy a coffee by the lake, browse the shops, or simply soak in the alpine atmosphere before returning by coach to Mezzana in time for dinner.

Day 3 (Trento & Ferrari Sparkling Wine):

Today, we will aim to depart at 9am on a journey that takes us to the elegant city of Trento, where Italian and Alpine influences blend beautifully. A local guide will lead us on a walking tour through the historic centre, taking in the Piazza Duomo, frescoed buildings and the impressive Buonconsiglio Castle, once home to the city’s powerful bishops, who head both religious and political authority. With free time to explore, you might choose to enjoy lunch in one of the city’s welcoming piazzas or browse local shops at your own pace.

In the afternoon, we will visit the renowned Ferrari wine estate, producers of Italy’s finest sparkling wine. We’ll learn about the traditional method used to create these award-winning wines before enjoying a tasting paired with local delicacies. This is a refined, relaxed day of culture and flavour, with gentle walking and plenty of time to enjoy each setting.

We will return to the hotel in late afternoon, with plenty of time to relax and freshen up before dinner.

Day 4 (At Leisure):

Today is left free to enjoy entirely as you wish. Some may choose to relax in the hotel’s wellness centre or enjoy a swim, while others might head out for a gentle stroll through the village of Mezzana or along the nearby river path.

It’s a chance to take things at your own pace, whether that means a quiet coffee with a view or exploring more of the surrounding valley. And of course, your Dedicated Tour Guide will be on hand with suggestions or assistance for anyone keen to discover a little more.

Day 5 (Brenta Dolomites, Apple Orchards & Madonna Di Campigilo):

Today we set off at around 9am, on a scenic journey through the spectacular Brenta Dolomites, where rugged limestone peaks rise above forested valleys and alpine meadows. We’ll visit the striking Nardis Waterfalls, set deep in the tranquil Val di Genova and enjoy time in the elegant mountain town of Madonna di Campiglio, with time to stroll, shop, or perhaps enjoy lunch at your leisure.

In the afternoon, we will travel through the Val di Non, a region famed for its vast apple orchards. We’ll visit a traditional local farm for a tasting of apple-based specialities and to learn more about the area’s agricultural traditions. It’s day filled with natural beauty, authentic flavour, and relaxed exploring.

Day 6 (Bolzano & The South Tyrolean Wine Road):
